Sarenn has been made responsible for the construction of a new prison to house those convicts who escaped with the Hole. At present it's just about enough to contain all the new prisoners, but those on the neighbouring fragments are worried about how much security is provided by the pre-fabricated buildings.
The Department S Operative known as Atticus has been cleared of all charges by the Union Third Investigation Council. In a short and incredibly one sided hearing, every scrap of evidence the prosecution put forwards was rebuked, rubbished, and ridiculed. Atticus himself provided a stalwart analysis, but his defense would have had no credibility without the impeccable reputation and efforts of Evelyn Minver and Marshall S Craddock
Thanks to the combined efforts of Intaglio Deep, Sarr and Professor Djared Crusius, a more permanent cure has been found for the sickness afflicting the Jade Vale, without the need for them to obtain supplies of Amethyst crystals. Surely the post shall now get through with nothing to stop it!
Breaking News! In a shock move, Gregor Ironhand, the second-highest official in the Guild, has been arrested on charges of Corruption and Conspiring to Undermine Guild Operations. A great shape has been seen in Union skies as of late. This is said to be the Leviathan, the great ancient flying machine of times long gone by, which the College of Horizons has reportedly restored to working order recently. The machine is huge, far larger than any other the Union or possibly even the world has ever seen.
Evelyn Minver has been negotiating a settlment with a sect of the Forge Fathers, who were exiled long ago. They have lodged complaints with the Union Councils, but it seems increasingly likly that some sort of agreement will be reached before the council makes its decision.
The Storm Academy, recently suffering from Geomantic subsidence, have had its descent arrest by the Union Zwerginn known as Sarenn. The cause of this unexpected peril are still unclear, though many note it coincided with the beginning of archeological excavations beneath the academy foundations. Rumors suggest that findings from the dig are almost ready to be published.
