After extensive sweeps by the Marshalls, all the prisoners who escaped in the recent breakout were recaptured and brought back into custody. Though those that had gone to ground in the Union were easy to find and capture, some, ex-high priestess Arabella Crimson among them, had taken up piracy under the command of the secretive Captain Alias. After chasing the pirates in commandeered Guild ships, a strike force led by Marshall Craddock was able to capture the piates, Crimson and their airship, although the dastardly Captain jumped into the Mists in an effort to escape.
The crackdown on corruption within the Union continues as Guildmistress Evelyn Minver continues her crusade! This season she arrested and brought to justice Saul Armitage and Michael Fitcher, delivering irrefutable evidence of their crimes to the court.
Meanwhile, Marshal Craddock has arrested Artemis Guyver and Ben Sheldon, also believed to be involved in cases of corruption, although investigations are reportedly still underway, and Hawthorne has been giving speeches, speaking out against the evils of corruption and the wrath of the Founders against those who are guilty of it.
A number of test flights have been seen over Department S, Ritz Herald seems to have been reproducing her fantastic Herald Rocket. They don't yet appear to be as fast as the original, but offer a whole new host of tactical possabilities to the Union's Reconasance Corp.
