+Hawthore, Bezeth, Imogene, Anja, Sarin and Marshall Craddock, all meet Caul on a ferryman fragment bound for the temple. Hawthorne and Craddock bring with them the crown Caul asked for. Bezeth and Imogene have the Glorious One, and Sarin has colonel Spectre. It takes a few days to get to the temple, in which time Caul spends most of his time fiddling with the crown. He first takes a glove, given to him by Bezeth, and gives the crown a good polish with it, he then has the Glorious One speak a few words about his brother, Caul then says he needs a few drops of his blood. To this he takes the knife Caul hands him, and stabs himself through the heart. Falling to the fall Caul says “I only need a few drops.” Never the less, he scoops up a bit of the blood gushing from the wound and daubs it on the crown. Slowly the glorious one begins to stir, and his wounds heal over, a few minutes later he is moping about again, with just a large blood stain on his shirt to show he had been stabbed. Caul then touches the hilt of the sword to the relic and says a few words, before binding the crown and sword together.
+When the party reach the temple they head in, as they move deeper into the temple, they find the floor becomes wet, and very soon they are up to their knees in water, Bezeth insists that they need to go under the water to reach the room, and it is all fine, it was totally like this before, and they didn’t set off a water trap or anything. Swing under the water, the party feel like they are going to drown, until finally the water begins to subside, and they emerge into a room with a pedestal. Caul puts the sword in the hole, and begins to chant, he then draws the sword out, and lo and behold there is a blade. Suddenly the Pedestal begins to glow, and they close their eyes to stop themselves being blinded. As the light subsides, they hear an angry roar. In front of the is the King of Bone, Quickly Bezeth, Craddock and Hawthorne try to restrain the King, Sarin makes sure Colonel Spectre is firmly held, well Imogene begins to slap Caul, Caul shakes before seeming to glaze over, when he comes back he leaps into action, he holds the sword, and begins to mutter, slowly the King becomes more docile, bginig to calm down, and slowly the grip is released. On the other side of the room Colonel Spectre begins to rave about injustice, the rights of the free man to experiment, he doesn’t get very far before Imogene knocks him out. Caul begins to concentrate again, but this time something is wrong, he suddenly falls to the floor, unconscious. Bezeth brings him round by giving him a good shake, as he rouses he says “If I wake up to the sight of a beautiful four armed lady, I need to get knocked out more often.”
+The party make their way back out, and back to the Archipelago, when Colonel Spectre wakes up he begins to rave again. The King of Bone is oddly quiet, when he does speak he still talks with maliciousness “I’ll have you all strung up with your guts cut out hung over the entrance to the city.” But doesn’t seem to take any aggressive action. When they get back Colonel Spectre and the King are safly detained (where do you want to detain them?) Meanwhile Caul seems to spend his time hitting on the various party members. He gives the crown back to the Marshall just as it was, though with the addition of the passion foci wound round it.
