Rune Classification and Cost

To use a rune in a runic phrase costs (Base) x (Multiplier) x (Overburn) units of testament, where the (Base) is the base cost for that rune at the specified level and (Multiplier) is as follows:

  • x3 if no trace
  • x2 if single trace (default)
  • x1 if mass trace (requires Symbology 3)

(Overburn) is 5 if the rune is linked to an Overburn rune, or 1 otherwise.
