The fragment of Neverdark approched this season putting all the colonies in danger, however a cross colony force was put togeter to deal with the threat. Syndicator Schneider (With Fallen Malitia), General Deepcut (With Union Troops) ,Harkon Stormwarden (With Confederate Troops), Catequil, Bezeth, Imogene, Anja and Sarr, all aided in the defence. The defence was successful, but now a clean up operation is in order.

Tales rebound of Sarr's heroic victory against the Neverdark King

'So there he was, surrounded on all sides by the giant undead pirates with his blade stuck in a zombie and his lantern about to go out. Behind the sea of dead was the Confederate Lich King Lemur himself, cackling at the trap he'd laid for the hero.'

'“You were strong to make it this far,” He sneered “but how will you fare against my champion: Bezemoth!”'

'“Holy Headbiting Sarr!” Cried Sarr's trusty sidekick; Harkon Stormboy “What are we gonna do now? We're in double trouble if we wanna beat up zombies in the dark!”'

'“Fear not, young Harky!” came back the chipper reply “I studied blind fighting for years with old man Kopeck. I can track that stinky undead by smell alone!”'

'With that, Sarr leapt on his trusty steed, Anja, and raced towards where the Bezemoth should be.'

The union's Department S are back up to speed on their monster hunting ways. Last year they took down a powerful coporeal spirit, and now they have successfully captured some storm creatures with an alarming similarity to the Black Lightning. These creatures reputedly act as a power sink for storm energy.

There are some rumors that the creatures will be brought to the temple gathering for exhibition.

News has come in that the Rennaise representative, Segue Tyr of Clan Amalfi, has been arrested and detained at the King of Copper's pleasure. The Gallant Segue was presumed a stark ally and loyal follower of the King responsible in part for his rise in power, making these developments a shock even to Copper themselves.

Segue was arrested while attempting what some might consider a foolhardy heist of the king's most secure vaults, accompanied by several known Union outlaws recently escaped from 'the hole'. The band fought bravely to escape their initial predicament, but were eventually cornered and captured by Hillary White's security sweeps. In an ironic twist, Segue was supposedly part responsible for the heightened security within the city.

It is unclear what motivated this act of Treason, though rumors abound that the artifact Segue sought is wholly responsible for the King's dominion over the city.

The thief may be attending Gathering for the last time, there to have his temple access revoked.

There has been a strange growling emanating from the barns of the Glorious People's Republic; a growling that seemed to have much in common with a bleat. The cause for this was glimpsed by visitors as they visited the Games; great, lumbering sheep, the size of bears and with vicious claws and teeth. What the People's Republic has in mind for these terrible creatures is anyone's guess.

Takhai of the Fallen has created a large Geomantic spire, this formation, orbits the Fallen Fragment, it consist of a thin spire reaching towards the storms, around it vortex of smaller fragment spins at high speeds, its purpose is unknown.

The glory and unity of the broken world was epitomised this season by The People’s Games. Held in the Glorious People's Stadium for the Promotion of Healthy Competition (which remains open for tourists and athletes wishing to train), crowds of awed spectators from all four colonies watched as the careful preparations of the hosts and the breathtaking skill of the competitors came together to create a spectacle beyond even the wildest imagination.

The opening ceremony featured a grand parade of athletes, the history of the People’s Republic in dance, the singing of revolutionary songs and a flyover by a giant fish, trailing banners which proclaimed the superiority of Reason, Science and the Historically Inevitable Dialectic. It was concluded by an inspiring speech by El Presidente of which bystanders were heard to say that they could feel him speaking directly to their hearts, instilling a peaceful spirit and the wonders of solidarity and co-operative achievement.

Judged by impartial arbitrators from all four colonies (Marshall Craddock from the Union, Arbiter Kalanar from the Fallen, Roderick Alonso from the City, El Presidente from the Confederacy and Pope Pineapple representing minorities), the events were a fine demonstration of the contenders skill. Unfortunately, there was no winner in the Sprinting as a drug-crazed Ella May went mad, attacking the other athletes and having to be restrained for the remainder of the games.

The Dixie Family did however win People’s Tonga, Anja Sedlak of Clan Watson won the Archery, Chtoth of the Crystal Collective won the Wrestling, Comrade Kamenev of the Glorious People’s Republic won the Swimming (albeit in the absence of much competition, the concept of such a large body of water being alien to most people), and Pipirupiru and Pipirupii of the Stormbright Flock of Hareppi won the long jump and high jump respectively.

In the wake of the Games, the People's Republic has become more popular than ever, with another two clans joining their ranks and Navigator Chtoth taking the opportunity of receiving his medal to announce that his clan, too, wishes to pledge allegiance to the Glorious People's Republic. How can anyone now deny the greatness of the People’s Republic, the glory of the Historically Inevitable Dialectic and the universal appeal of El Presidente?
