The time is upon us. Eons ago our world was broken, left drifting eternally in the cold uncaring void beneath the storms that rain destruction upon us. This world has corrupted us; we are riven by strife and suffering, commanded by those who scheme and manipulate to profit from the conflicts they have brewed. Herein lays our doom; to be trapped forever in this world that was broken and that should never have survived. But our damnation is not complete and we can yet be saved from this purgatory. Look to the source of all life, look to that which creates and sustains, look to the Mists for within them is your salvation and ultimate destiny. Under the administrative guidance of Gary 401, the Antso Superior College of Engineering is now ready to open its doors.

In the same spirit of cooperation as the temple, young hopefuls are being canvassed from across the colonies for a place at the college. Together they will learn the art of civil engineering under the curriculum of Roderick Alonso.

But what does the College mean for you? As well as the adult education program (1AP for a specialization) Gary 401 has instigated the Fiscal Research Operation, where the efforts of the students will be directed towards solving real engineering problems (Cheaper BP). Contact the C of E, today!

Segue Tyr was found guilty on 2 counts of assisting in a jail break, Minor Theft, Significant Theft, Major Theft, pretending to be a pirate, being a pirate, impersonating a pirate king, kidnapping, attempted canibalism, insitment to riot, subversing Union officials, putting ideas in Arabella Crimsons head, cat napping and wasting police time.

He was found guilty on all counts, and the judge's only option was to sentence execution.

Marching bands, clowns and a parade of gary's marred the opening of the centrepiece to the refurbished neverdark attractions; The Tower of Light.

The tower is a tall, pointed and painted iron structure extended up through the city's central chamber. For the opening ceremony it was covered in candles, caged fireflies, and lightstones, lending a gentle white light to the whole city. Extending down from the tip of the tower is a long slide, leading in a curling path to the Bath House built around its base and with a constant stream of water pumped down it.

This 'water slide' has been used without rest since it was opened, and is the primary reason people are upping sticks and moving to the New City. The other reason is the constant stress, peril and warfare of the old city, but its really all about the waterslide.

There is a large reward available for anyone who wishes to provide a more impressive lighting arrangement for the Tower of Light.

The war has been won!

Today the Union Air fleet entered the Confederate Colony destroying the Military Instalations of the CSF Humanity, Stormwatch Tower and the Earthborne Fragment Stack. With Confederate Armed Forces either captured or in full rout the Union has declared the war over.

The next Temple meeting has been designated as the place for a signing of the New Peace Treaty, any Confederate ammbasadors still evading the Union forces have been given amnesty to attend this peace council, which the magic of the temple ensures. Notable Prisoners of War including Harkon Stormwarden, Aoishe and Talvi will be brought to the meeting to negotiate possible release.

In the midst of the battle between the two airfleets, the CSF Humanity was destroyed. While initial reports indicated that it was a new and experimental Union weapon which took down the Fortress, it seems to have emerged a team of commando's infiltrated the fortress with the intent of turning it onto the Confederate forces.

As his last act Alric Earthborne seems to have activated the seld destruct sequence of the fortress to prevent it falling into the enemies hands. Shortly after the Fortress began to break up Alric was seen tumbling into the mists.

As the CSF humanity sinks, this message is heard across the battlefield.

“But seriously kids, I don't like having to do this. Violence doesn't solve anything. It is better to talk things through. When you get mad at your friend, or your parents won't let you stay out late, don't get mad and hurt someone, you'll only end up hurting yourself.

Like these people here. They got mad, and they tried to hit people, people who should have been their friends, and now look at how they are hurt too.

So remember, always try to talk to your friends and parents when you get mad. They love you and only want to help you.

In the final hours of the War a great tradgedy hit the Confederacy. The fragment stack home of the Earthborne had the very top turned to water. Eye witnesses report they saw defenders, civilians, courtiers and palaces falling the great distance towards the lower fragments in the stack, the water is all that remains of their fragment falling with them. This is clearly a magical effect, but noone is quite sure which magic.

With the majority of the confederate forces destroyed the GPR have taken control of the Confederate lands. Elements loyal to the GPR within the three other sponsor clans have joined up and the GPR is effectivly running the confederacy dealing with the fallout from the war. Already the GPR has begun to rebuild the clans that took heavy damage from the war. Particually those displaced by the destruction of the fragment stack.

The Circus' move to the Union was mired in tragedy this season as their favourite panda, Bubbles, was struck down in the prime of its life. The entire circus spent this season grieving, including a wonderful performance/eulogy by Bezeth at around the time of the major conflicts in the war between the confederacy and the union.

• Cap'n Nobeard is still definitely not a pirate either way.
