Beastman sickness

It appears Navigator Chtoth has found a cure for the beastman sickness. Although there are only small quantities trickeling in, it appears the beastmen are on the mend.

Night of Jazz

The Citranos Tribe, led by Pope Pineapple, were host to the Dixie Jazz Clan. Here's an exerpt.

The Jazz band starts by playing a few songs they call 'Dixiland Jazz'. It sounds pretty cool, but it's then revealed that this is just as a warm up.

After a few tunes, Matthias, who's been playing drums and adding a few 'shabadeeba's' up to now, takes a phial of strange glowing liquid out of his pocket, and downs it in one. After a few minuites he steps forwards, you notice his eyes are glinting in the light of the dimming storm, and he seems unsteady on his feet. A fellow band member hands him a strange, black case; which seems to hum slightly.

Matthias speaks; his voice seems deeper, somehow different to normal: 'Now, the doll who invited me here asked for somethin special; Passion. Now, I'm more then happy to oblige; the spirit of Jazz, he came to me last night; and he had with him some damn good inspiration. I'm callin this style, 'Bebop', in honour of One Cool Cat's Cat.'

He bows to pinapple in the audience; and takes a strange, glowing instrument made of shining brass from the case.

The rest of the evening passes in somthing of a Blur. Matthias performs a soulful, passionate song he calls 'Temptation'; followed by 'Stella by Stormlight', 'North of the Mists (and South of the Storm)'.

Later, smoke and fires could be seen rising from the forests of the Citranos.

Arrvival of Circus

With grand pomp and much rejoicing, the Circus arrives to the Fallen, ready to delight young and old alike with “L'Ange des Orages: A Taele ofe Fallene”, a grand production and much talked about performance.

Syndicator Schneider

Sarin of the Unsullied has commanded the setting up of a Fallen Militia in charge of protecting the Fallen from invading parties. Syndicator Schneider, a machinist, has been made responsible for leading the force, he has been drilling the volunteers to form an excellent fighting force.

Storm ore mine

From the lectures of Colonel Specter, Researcher of Botanical Augmentations

The Union. A bunch of filthy humans reveling in their imperfection. Not content with their own petty matters they must now meddle in ours.

They appear to have set up a mine in our territory to extract valuable resources that should rightfully belong to us. Furthermore, they appear to be extracting Storm Ore, a dangerous and unpredictable material that puts the lives of all of us on this fragment at risk.

The higher ups would counsel us to be diplomatic in our relations, but where does this stop? When do we cease to acquiesce to their every demand? I say it stops now!

Unsullied response

The origins of the name lost in the mists of time, though I suspect of origin outwith the ranks of the Fallen. They make the ultimate sacrifice - forgoing adaptations to reach posthumanity - for the common good. They are able to go among those who threaten the great project and act as our agents where others who have progressed further down the path of advancement would sadly stand out. Without their interactions with the outsiders we would be considerably more limited in what we could achieve, though sadly for reasons of secrecy we shall I fear never know the full extent of the sacrifices they make for us. - Anon, letter to a Fallen paper.
