Damn pirates are enemies of all the Confederacy. They were stealing from O'Sheas before they struck.

Now they have fled, completely, from the Confederacy to that den of vice and corruption known as the City. While the O'sheas and the Corvidae debate the repropriation of goods that the Dixies executed from one sponsor to the other, both have put forward a bounty for the pirate's heads.

Shortly before the outbreak of War the Circus left the confederacy. It was a somewhat hurried move, the circus' thing loaded onto a small airship before it headed off in the direction of the Union.

In the wake of the war, with the Earthborne down, the Corvidae's military strength mostly gone and the fragment stack highly destabilised, there is a struggle for power among the remaining factions. Though, as expected, the GPR have consolidated their hold and spread across much of the Confederacy, another faction has surpisingly made their move. The Turtugan Empire, for a long time merely floating on the periphery of the four colonies, have established themselves as a real power, claiming many fragments of the Confederacy and pushing out the pirates that were raiding unopposed there. This new block, calling itself the New Turtugan Republic, has received tentative support from numerous factions within the Confederacy, most notably from the powerful M Cartel within the O'Sheas. Spokepersons from the group state that the NTR is civilized and willing to trade with their great knowledge and technology, and that they are infinitely more preferable than GPR rule.
