The terrorizm of Valk is at an end. The copper workers, helped in no small part by Intaglio Deep, have uncovered the ruse behind the Mirror sabotage. The mirrors were actually hidden not far from their housing using a curious fabric with a very accurate stone hue. Once the first mirror was found, it was childs play to uncover the rest. The mirros are restored, and the cloth is in the posession of the Copper King.

The Copper King announces that the man known as Comerade S is a dangerous and unproductive man. He should be killed on sight. The same goes for any associates of the Tillermen. Anyone who can provide proof confirming or denying Bezeth of the Circus' involvement in recent terrorism will be rewarded.

There are unconfirmed sightings of a very large, very angry bear somewhere in the city. Supposedly the creature has been rampaging around the no-mans land attacking foolhardy travellers, but the Copper and Bone safemaking force have been unable to locate this mythic Ursidae. Whatever the truth of the matter, many innocents are either horrifically injured or dead, and the finger has been pointed at the dastardly Tillermen. A ban on ursine warfare has been called for.

A footnote to the king's assassination, the Bone King representative has met a similar grizzly fate. Archimedes was found half stuffed through a sewer grate, his smile vying with the equally upward curve of the cut accross his throat.

No culprit has been uncovered, nor have the Tillermen stepped forward to take responsibility.

Spectacular new improvements have been made to the City by the Ashbourne, in particular, the installation of a new ice-house means that food can now be kept for longer. The new improvements harken back to the Masonic style of old and it is wonderful to see that new technology can be combined with the wisdom of our forefathers to produce such thrilling results.

The grand opening of the city's first Jazz Bar was another example of the luxury of City Life, and was one of the last acts of the King of Bone before his assassination.

The Jazz Bar Opens with a bang. Serving strong drink and flat cheesy bread. The opening theme hums through the halls, lead in by Matthias Dixie on the impossible Storm Sax. The tune is somewhat catchy.

The proposal for unilateral reduction of troops on the City Surface was aborted due to the complicated political situation. Currently the Union and Confederate forces are matched. The Confederates are mostly concerned with self protection until a firm position can be decided, while the Union have suffered minor losses at the hands of the rioters in early attmpts to assuay the violence.

• The King of Copper requests that his followers not be used as bait for giant fish.
• The crystal collective have supplied a large shipment of crystals as 'Reparations' to the Earthborn.
• Segue Tyr has been all over the place recently. Neverdark, The Union, The Confederacy, even down into the mists… where does he find the time? It must be driving him mad.
