If they would describe themselves, they would call themselves adventurers. In fact they do this rather regularly. The Forthwell family make it a habit to gallivant across fragments, boisterously take relics and kill monsters, and then brag about it to everyone concerned. This has made them rather disliked by everyone, something which they seem cheerfully oblivious to.
