Assasination of the King of Bone

The Bone King is Dead! long live the king!

Details are scarse at present, with hundreds of conflicting stories percolating around the death of the king, all mixed up into a potpourri by the wood shavers of revolution. Many point the finger at Valk and the Tillermen Terrorists once more, while some suggest Union, Fallen, Copper, Pirate and Earthborne involvement in the attack. A suspiciously large number cite a certain Four Armed Circus performer involved in the attack.

Equally prevailant is the mysterious masked Comerade S. The freedom fighter, now confirmed as a member of the Tillermen, has been inciting riot and revolution, encouraging all to take part in overthrowing the evil oppression of the kings.

Eyes now turn to the temple gathering, where it is hoped the representatives will uncover the truth and make it plain to all. The fate of the City hangs in the balance.

The Ultimate Power

Rumours were abound this last season about a fragment said to contain the ultimate power. Apparently it was visited by representatives of both the Union and Confederacy, and possibly even the Fallen. What became of these endeavours? Nobody seems to have appeared with great power to try to take over or destroy the world just yet…

The Glorious Empire of the Copper King

Before fighting can get too out of hand, and just as Union and Confederate troops are about to weigh in, any question of City authority is put well to bed by the Copper Workers. A mass conversion by the majority of the Bone King's clansmen, and even some elements of the Surface Dwellers, have cemented the one remaining king's hold over the city.

At the same time, the copper workers have reached a new frenzy of activity. Veins of copper gilding now line every corridor in the city, marking the King's glory. Life for all citizens under his rule has notably improved to new highs.

As yet, it is unclear if life will return to some semblance of the status quo, some new colony order, flare up into fighting again. Clean and tidy the city may be, but it is far from a safe place.

Valk Tillerman is Dead!

The instigator of the chaos on the City Fragment, Valk Tiller, met a grizzly end at the hands of an angry mob. A crowd composed of bone soldiers, copper workers, citizens and surface dwellers alike chased the terrorist through accross the surface, intent on tearing him apart.

Eventually they cornered him right at the Fragment's ritual execution ground. In front of an enormous crowd partially fighting each other, Valk was left with no choice but to leap to his end. The ironic end, considering the Kings' proclamation, went some way to quelling the violence for the time being.

The CSF Humanity

CSF Humanity represents the pinnacle of Confederate geomantic engineering, defensive architecture, and weapons technology. The central castle, delved into a huge fragment, is armed with cannon powerful enough to reduce cities to dust, and orbited by bastions that secure it from airborne attackers. The Sky Fortress, piloted by Earthborne geomancers and garrisoned with Storm Knights, is capable of ambulation across the Void, effortlessly transporting armies of trained soldiers in its granite belly.

CSF Humanity is not merely a technological, geomantic, and architectural marvel, but also a testimony to the firm resolve of all Confederate clans to co-operate in building up a credible defensive force. The Sky Fortress has been designed by the Wardens of the Stone Tower, the construction efforts managed and funded by the Dixie Family, armed by the Glorious People's Republic, and garrisoned by Storm Knights.

Lost Clans Reclaimed From The Mists!

A season ago many were feeling that doom was almost upon us; the Mists were likely to boil again, and remove all that the Colonies had worked towards. When all seemed lost, however, a brave group of intrepid explorers were able to turn the darkest despair into joy! Plunging deep into the Mists, they found that what was causing the disturbance was in fact a fragment, held down there by strange magics. Breaking the enchantment they raised it from the Mists, along with many other fragments entombed in the grey void. Much joy was expressed when it was discovered that those fragments contained survivors of clans long thought lost to the first Mist boiling. Two of the fragments have been steered to the Union, two to the Fallen, and one to the City. Though the survivors seem rather worse for wear from their generation-long sojourn in the Mists, medics are confident they will recover given time.

Post Office Expansion

The reach of the post office extends, now a joint and neutral activity, overseen by Orelius Guar, Matthias Dixie and Evelyn Minver. As faith in the system increases, more and more inter-colony mail is sent using the system.
