======The Tirthankar======

The Tirthankar are a clan of highly skilled craftsmen who are said to be the most accomplished body-modifiers amongst all the Fallen and hence are highly prized by the Machinists. Their unorthodox views on the nature of Transcendence is tolerated by the Fallen as a whole partly because of this expertise. There remain rumours of a dark past before the they joined the Fallen and of a great tragedy, but the precise nature of what happened is rarely spoken of to outsiders.
